Fall equates to rowing

It's Fall...and rowing season is at it's peak.
We just returned from our trip to Boston to compete in the lightweight four at The Head of the Charles. And well...we did all right. We were 13th off the line and 10th to cross the finish line (meaning we passed 3 boats - one of which was Cal Berkeley...oh that feels good) and we finished 7th out of 17! For more information visit The Hooch Pirate blog (link on left).

The rest of the weekend involved catching up with good friends, eating Chowder, shopping, eating at Finagle-a-Bagle, drinking hot apple cider, speaking like a pirate, eating donuts, living it up at our classy hotel at "downtown crossing", taking the T everywhere, running through mud because our shoes were missing, eating kettle cooked popcorn, drinking lots more hot apple cider, more shopping and watching races.

Sarah, Heidi and Joy got to row with Georgia Tech's women. Jordan was rowing with Penn AC, Rob rowed his Single, and GT had 4 boats race (one that got 2nd!). So the whole weekend was exciting for many people from the A.T.L. I just want to say that is was really nice to have the old gang back together again at a regatta. It was really cool to have everyone there to cheer us on...even if you didn't come so much to cheer us on...but more to drink and be merry with some fine friends. It was really fun.
